Honest answers, before you ask

The panels we install are certified to withstand hail and strong winds (international testing includes hail impacts of ~25 mm at over 80 km/h), and the mounting structure is engineered for local wind conditions. For extraordinary hailstorms, your business or home insurance can usually cover the system — we help you get it added to your policy.

Panels typically carry a 25–30 year production warranty and a 10–15 year product warranty; inverters carry 5–10 years depending on the manufacturer (extendable). ProEnergy also guarantees the installation in writing. Your proposal includes the exact warranties for each piece of equipment, by model.

Very little: panel cleaning about 2–4 times a year (more often in dusty areas) and a periodic general inspection of connections and structure. You can do it yourself or hire us; it’s a small cost compared to what the system saves you. System monitoring alerts you if anything is off.

Yes, you stay connected to CFE. Your system is interconnected to the grid with a bidirectional meter: when you generate more than you use, you feed the grid and get credited; when you generate less (at night, for example), you draw from the grid as usual. ProEnergy handles the entire interconnection process for you.

On cloudy days the system keeps generating, just less (typically 10–60% depending on cloud cover). At night it doesn’t generate, but you’re never without power: you draw from CFE and net metering offsets it with what you generated during the day. If you want backup power for outages, that’s solved with batteries (BESS) — we install those too.

Yes. Solar systems are modular: panels can be added later. If you know your business will grow, tell us during the assessment — we’ll design the inverter, structure and paperwork ready for growth, which saves you money on the expansion.
